David has been around construction his whole life, with a grandfather who was a custom homebuilder and later started a cabinet factory and his father who has owned a successful plumbing company since he was born.

He has always been interested in construction and the way things are built and originally went to Colorado State University to earn an engineering degree.

David's passion for developing a tangible and lasting product at the end of a hard day's work was the driving force behind his decision to change his degree to construction management. Before graduating in the spring of 2006, he interned with Boxwell for 7 months and knew immediately this was where he wanted to end up. After school, David and his wife, Desarae, moved to the Fraser Valley and are currently enjoying hiking, camping and snowboarding.
